Another Winning Affordable Highlighter Has Dropped on My Desk

Another day, another brilliant highlighter, hey? Okay, I know there are a lot around, but honestly, can you really ever have enough? It's the kind of product that you can apply without a stitch of other makeup on, and suddenly you've got gorgeous glowing skin. You can apply it to eyebrow bones, the bridge of your nose and your cheekbones, and you look almost supermodel-like (I said almost). They help to reflect light and stop attention being drawn to your blemishes. Basically, what I'm saying is that they're brilliant, so here's why I'm writing about another fantastic one again. This time, it's one that has a hidden use, which I'm very excited about. Plus, it's less than a tenner. Keep scrolling to discover your favourite new highlighter.

Barry M Liquid Chrome Highlighter Drops in Liquid Fortune $7Shop

Barry M has got form when it comes to creating brilliant, wearable and affordable highlighters but that come at a fraction of the cost of the more expensive ones on the market. Which is why I was so excited to try the brand's new offering. This time, instead of a highlighter stick, the brand has gone for the liquid route and offered up a range of five different colours. The one I tried was a bronzy tone called Liquid Fortune, but there are other hues, including Beam Me Up (gold), Moon Potion (slightly blue iridescent), At First Light (pink) and Precious Pearl (pearl).

Liquid Fortune went on very easily and is strongly pigmented. While I used this on the corners of my eyes, my cheekbones and my nose, for future use I would be inclined to just use it on the eyes as it's a little too bold for my tastes. However, there is one way that I will be using it again-adding it to my foundation. On a day when my skin needed brightening up, I decided to add one little drop into my base, and it helped to blur any blemishes, thanks to the light-reflecting particles. Try it for yourself, and I guarantee you'll be pleased with the results. Well done, Barry M-you did it again.
